Disaster Relief

When disaster strikes, Midland Doctors® are always keen to help wherever they possibly and feasibly can and use their experience and expertise in handling the difficult and traumatic situations that come from a disaster.

Believe in Allah and His Messenger, and donate from what He has entrusted you with. So those of you who believe and donate will have a mighty reward.

Al-Hadid 57:7

The inception of our charity was the outcome of a disaster witnessed by our founders: the devastating earthquake of 2005. Whilst the main concept behind establishing the charity was to build a hospital in the impacted region, our executives knew that they must provide aid for the helpless as much possible during their time of need. Their mission to support those during disasters, with the immense support of donors and volunteers, has remained intact with Midland Doctors® delivering their resources and medical assistance during floods, earthquakes and the most recent COVID-19 pandemic.

9.0 on the Richter Scale: The magnitude of earthquake our hospital would be able to withstand.

100 water tanks donated post the 2019 earthquake.

1200 patients seen in the Balakot tents during the 2005 earthquake disaster.

How can I help Midland Doctors®?

We are always in need of donations to help run our charity hospital in Muzaffarabad whilst also participating in many other charitable projects across the world. Of course, not all contributions are monetary. Your time and effort to help fundraise, manage and drive our organisation forward will always be welcomed and appreciated!
