19th Oct 2010: Sleeping packs

by | Sep 27, 2014 | Charsadda News, Disaster Relief, Flood Relief, Projects

As the harsh Peshawar winter draws inexorably nearer Midland Doctors has been continuing it’s work in providing protection for the flood victims from the harsh upcoming elements. Today we visited Mian Walay, Tangi Charsadda where we distributed 210 sleeping packs to 210 families. Of these, 70 were from the nearby village of Tarr Lung. The token system that we have instituted in order to ensure a fair and equitable distrubution of the aid has worked exceptionally well and the villagers were happy to form orderly queues and wait patiently for the allocation. This was by far the smoothest operation we have run to date and we believe it reflects our ongoing involvement in the area and the trust and faith the villagers in this region have in Midland Doctors Association UK.

How can I help Midland Doctors®?

We are always in need of donations to help run our charity hospital in Muzaffarabad whilst also participating in many other charitable projects across the world. Of course, not all contributions are monetary. Your time and effort to help fundraise, manage and drive our organisation forward will always be welcomed and appreciated!
