The Lord Mayor of Nottingham in 2018/9 is Cllr Liaqat Ali and he has chosen MDAUK, together with the Stroke Association, to be his chosen charities during his time in office.
January 2019 saw the Lord Mayor hold a fundraiser for Muslim Doctors at the very beautiful Nottingham Council House.
