Nurse Training

Training the Nightingales of Kashmir to work to UK Standards.

Nurses are the backbone of any healthcare facility. They execute care plans formulated by doctors and look after each patient as if they were their near and dear ones. With the advancement in healthcare delivery and digitalisation of technology, demands on nurses and paramedical staff has increased many fold. They must keep up to date with all major advances in health science.

Delivering care of exceptional quality in a safe and dignified setting is a key ethos of our organisation.
Dr Asrar Rashid

Midland Doctors® nurses are trained to monitor patients, set up and manage Intravenous infusion pumps, analgesia pumps, cardiac monitoring and use of defibrillators. Basic life support (BLS) training is conducted on mannequins. They are also made to be well versed in IT to manage monitoring and documenting. Provision of structured training programmes for continued education is vital and we excel in that field. Their continued development is based on NHS UK model. Midland Doctors® hopes to serve the community by inviting more volunteer nurses from all specialities to contribute their experience and time to the poor of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The training provided by nurses with international experience is key to bolstering the local work force. Please reach out to us to register for our volunteer program.

How can I help Midland Doctors®?

We are always in need of donations to help run our charity hospital in Muzaffarabad whilst also participating in many other charitable projects across the world. Of course, not all contributions are monetary. Your time and effort to help fundraise, manage and drive our organisation forward will always be welcomed and appreciated!
