Nur Goth School

Giving children, and their families, a chance to fulfil their hopes and dreams.

The Abdul Sattar Edhi School continues to improve the education of the local children in our Nur Goth Village Community. With our partners, PMA, we continue to build this community and now ensure that each child at the school not only receives an education but also receives a hot meal every day. This type of basic lunchtime activity, that we take for granted, is unheard of in the region.

Nur couldn’t have wished for a better legacy than houses for poor children and facility for their education with meals every day.

Following on from the ‘school for children’, we also have a Vocational Training Centre for the women of the community, which was fully funded by the Rotary Club of Karachi and has been a huge asset to the village.

The moment we knew this project was truly a gift of hope was the moment a child was asked what he would like to be when he is older, to which he replied “a doctor”. The opportunities for these children are next to none and so to be able to provide these children with resources to fulfil their dreams gives a sense of warmth, satisfaction and joy unlike any other.

How can I help Midland Doctors®?

We are always in need of donations to help run our charity hospital in Muzaffarabad whilst also participating in many other charitable projects across the world. Of course, not all contributions are monetary. Your time and effort to help fundraise, manage and drive our organisation forward will always be welcomed and appreciated!
