BoneXpert is a software for automated measurement of bone age from a child’s hand X-ray. This delivers a precise and standardized reading unlike the conventional manual rating with its considerable reader variability. This technology used in leading hospitals has been launched in MDMI by experts in the field, Mr. Tanvir from UK along with Mr. Junaid from Karachi. This helps to assess the level of malnutrition among the children of the region. The installation of this digital x-ray system has made the system more robust and in par with many of the international hospitals in the world.
