The past few weeks have been momentous for the Midland Doctors Association.
Over in Pakistan, our first major operations began!!
Our Chairman, Mr Syed Iftikhar and Treasurer, Zahid Sheikh were at the hospital commencing the operations themselves.
After three days Dr Iftikhar had completed 17 operations in three days, all successful. You can see the team in different phases. Note the equipment to hand that has been acquired, donated or purchased from the NHS and other international institutions. You can see Dr Iftikhar operating the internal camera, laparoscope and he was able to perform surgeries for the first time at the MDMI.
Despite the busy schedule, Mr Iftikhar, at the end of a long day took time out to pray for the health of Deen Mohd Azeem, Grandson of Liaqaut Sahib (Nottingham, UK )
Junaid has become an invaluable part of the team and his ICT support has been second to none.
