A Monumental day for the Midland Doctors Charity.

After years of hard work, the day has finally arrived, the opening of the operating theatres!

Our feelings are overwhelming, following the blood, sweat and tears that have been shed. And none of this would have been possible without the amazing, continuous support from our worldwide donors.

Please share and join in our excitement and extend the news to everyone that you know.

Ifti, our Chairman, is currently on site embarking on this momentous occasion, and in a couple of days, to be followed by further executives of the charity. (All travel expenses paid by themselves).

Here you can see the day beginning with eye patients queuing…

The following are some of the comments that have been circulated by the Executives showing their feelings at this exact moment in time… 8 am (UK time) 7th August 2015.

“Heart warming to see the fruits of all the hard work . May Allah give you the strength to continue to lead with the focus and vision” – Javed

“Some history being made right in front of our eyes well done” – Rahim

“Four patient at one time in theatre. It is a very well recognised drill for cataract surgery” – Ifti

“Unbelievable from nothing to here. What a vision mashallah” – Khalid

“Trying to run a NHS system has its challenges … Sensitive machinery and the variable current in Pakistan was one challenge … With everyone’s help we are effecting regions … These people have come from miles …” – Asrar

How can I help Midland Doctors®?

We are always in need of donations to help run our charity hospital in Muzaffarabad whilst also participating in many other charitable projects across the world. Of course, not all contributions are monetary. Your time and effort to help fundraise, manage and drive our organisation forward will always be welcomed and appreciated!
