MDAUK Students continue to go from strength to strength and formed a joint enterprise with the Nottingham Entrepreneurs whose website can be found at www.nottingham-entrepreneurs.co.uk
Nottingham Entrepreneurs aim;
“To inspire interest in entrepreneurship and support entrepreneurial students in their efforts to establish new enterprises.”
As a part of celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week 2010, Nottingham Entrepreneurs (NE) organised a social enterprise competition in collaboration with MDAUK Students for the purpose of raising funds for the MDAUK Students Pakistan Flood Appeal. The competition took place over a week and involved selling NE branded pens. The team or individual selling the most pens was awarded the winning prize and the money raised was donated to MDAUK flood appeal.
The MDAUK executive are very impressed by the way that the MDAUK Students have formed partnerships to help keep alive the message of the on going suffering of the Pakistan flood victims and continue their great fund raising efforts to help alleviate this suffering.
