A group of enterprising medical students at the Nottingham University have set up a student’s division of MDAUK. Their stated aim is;
‘To raise the maximum amount of money possible in order to rebuild the lives of many affected by the floods by supporting the activities of MDAUK.’
Dr Asrar Rashid of the MDAUK executive commented,
“This is an exceptional group of young men and women whose talents and energy will be a huge asset to MDAUK and we greatly look forward to working with them”.
The MDAUK Students committee are looking to set up branches in other major medical schools and have already been raising funds to help the MDAUK hospital project.
